We’re excited to introduce Lead & Step Specific CC/BCC, giving you full control over who gets copied or blind copied in your email sequences. This feature enables greater customization, automation, and flexibility in your outreach.
How it works
- Upload a lead list to a campaign with email address of your leads.
- Add separate columns in the list with emails you'd like to CC or BCC for each lead
- While creating a sequence, select the CC/BCC option next to each step and select which variable you'd like to use as CC or BCC.
- Enable CC or BCC for each step where required
1. Smart Triggering & Automation
- CC/BCC is applied only if provided in the lead list while uploading to a campaign.
- If fields are blank, the system automatically ignores them.
- CC/BCC recipients will be included only at the enabled steps.
2. Flexible Step-Level Control
- Enable or disable CC/BCC for specific steps.
- Keep CC/BCC for outreach emails but remove them from follow-ups.
- Changing CC/BCC at later steps won’t affect previous emails or the email thread.
3. Manual Replies
- You can choose whether to include CC/BCC in manual replies via a toggle in Onebox
4. Logging & Visibility
- The campaign activity log tracks emails sent with CC/BCC.
- You can view CC/BCC recipients for each lead and step.
What This Means for You
With Lead-Specific CC/BCC, you can now efficiently reach multiple stakeholders, automate team coordination, and customize outreach sequences without disrupting workflows.
Important Notes
- Email credits will be deducted for every email sent via CC/BCC.
- CC/BCC emails in Blocklist will not be included.
- Global CC recipients (set at the campaign/account level) remain free and are not affected by this change. Global CC recipients will be included along with lead and step-specific recipients in CC/BCC
